Well, we've had a busy week since the last post - this might turn into fifteen!
1. Last Sunday was Chloe's baby dedication at church. We had about 12 family members there - even Uncle Ben and Carolyn from Bossier City! Pretty exciting. The actual ceremony was a little long, considering that there were about 15 babies who'd already been at church for 2 hours but it was very nice and Chloe did not cry at all! Pictures are coming. By the way - Chloe has gone to the church nursery 3 weeks in a row now with no problems :)
2. Monday was Chloe's first trip to the great state fair of Texas. Too bad there was record attendance and temperatures on Monday. Instead of the 80 degrees and clouds predicted, it was about 95. And there was a Jonas Brothers concert - who are apparently huge with the pre-teen set. Thank God for air conditioned buildings. We did at least get corny dogs and funnel cake!
3. Tuesday, Chloe and I went to Flavour - a program for women at church and it was great. Lisa Young had some very inspiring words to share and we had lunch with Angela and baby Carson afterwards.
4. Dr - day. Chloe's check up went great - weight gain is good - she's just under 12 pounds and 24 inches. That puts her in the 15% for weight and 50% for height - good progress from the 5% she started in. But, as I've suspected for a while, she is getting a flat spot on her head so we have an appt on Monday with a specialist to see if she needs a little helmet to correct it. The dr also wants us to see a plastic surgeon to look at her birthmark b/c it's so close to her eye. We will go there on November 1. All of that plus shots was a hard day for mommy :( But these are just cosmetic problems and things could be much worse so God will get us through all of this.
5. Chloe has been sleeping through the night for almost a week now!! We moved her into her room last Saturday and she's been sleeping 10-11 hours ever since most nights! I had forgotten how nice it is to get a full night's sleep - it's great.
I think that wraps up the week - pictures are coming.

That's awesome that she is sleeping through the night. It's so great to get back into a normal sleep pattern, huh?!?!?
